Myths

The past three weeks in T1 we have been reading and writing myths. We had to base our myths on a natural phenomenon. I based mine on rock slides. Here is my writing.

  1. Wow!

Kia ora Megan, my name is jedi and I am a year eight in rimu class. Did you write this by yourself? Because it is fantastic! You have summed up the myth/story excellently. And I actually found it very interesting to read. So correct me if I am wrong, you made up this myth yourself? And if so, then did you mean to tell it as a narrative? Or like a report?

  2. Hey there Megan, my name is Parwin and I am a year 8 from Yaldhurst Model school. I think that the myth of the mountains and Aoraki was really cool and I enjoyed reading it. I liked that you have added information in your writing telling us why you did it. I think that the way you presented was sort of dull although the writing itself was amazing, don't get me wrong but I think you should have like presented your writing in a more creative way. I haven't done something like this but hopefully we would because I thin that this type of writing is really cool and fun to write. Like Jedi had previously asked, is this a narrative or a report? Awesome work!

Looking forward to your next posts,
    Parwin

Your myth is amazing! I love the writing and all together story telling.
Where did you get your inspiration? Have you thought about changing the font to something more creative and thrilling?
    Keep up the good work!
    Sincerely Staci.
