Brunner Mine Site
On Monday this week our class went out to the Brunner Mine. In class we have been reading a book about what happened when the explosion happened called 'The Mines Afire'. So we decided to go out to the mine to have a look at all of the ruins and historical things that are there. While we were there we did a photo shoot in older clothes. We also got put into groups and had to do a mime. The other groups had to guess what part of the book we were acting out. Here is a picture of the book.

This is a great blog post on 'The Mines Afire!'. Have you enjoyed reading the book so far? What do you think is going to happen next? I like how you have added a picture of the book cover and wrote a little bit about our class trip to Brunner Mine.
Maybe next time you could add some more information about our trip to Brunner Mine and also add some of the photo's Miss Power shared with us.
Did you have fun acting out your mime? My group did the mime where we had to pull the pony's into the mine.
